Overview This training is designed to help attendees understand the fundamentals of evidence-based concepts and skills. It is aimed for clinicians and other health-care professionals who wish to gain knowledge of critical appraisal and experience in the practice of evidence-based health care.

At the end of the training, participants will:
- Understand the core concepts defining evidence based medicine practice
- Appreciate the principles of EBM and critical review, and how to apply these to the bedside practice
- Understand the rationale for an evidence-based approach to clinical practice
- Be able to appraise published articles addressing diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic questions; assess their accuracy; and make appropriate evidence-based clinical decisions at the bedside based on their assessment
